My husband and I got married in December 2003 in Las Vegas. We had a beautiful baby girl on August 27, 2007. Her name is Sommer Renee. She is such a great baby. We live in Acworth with our two snakes, Charity and Destiny, and our cat, Milo.

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Math and Social Studies. I completed my Masters Degree in Special Education at Kennesaw State University in May 2006. As soon as I graduated with my Masters, I enrolled at Lesley University. In May 2008, I completed my Specialist Degree in Educational Technology at Lesley University with Miss Morrow, Mrs. Hogan, and Mrs. Martel.

I taught Fifth Grade at Emerson Elementary School for two years. My third year of teaching, I moved to Cloverleaf Elementary School where I taught Fourth Grade with Miss Morrow and Mr. Bates, Fifth Grade with Mrs. Brantley, and First and Second Multi-Age with Mrs. Harmon and Mrs. Nix. I taught Third Grade for two years with Mr. Huneke for a few months and then Mrs. Kuhn for the remainder of the two years. I am excited to be working in Fifth Grade with Mrs. Vagase, Mrs. Sabin, Mrs. Reynolds, and Mr. Glover.

I like to read to Sommer, watch her play and learn, scrapbook, take pictures, play on my computer, and watch movies with my family and friends in my free time.
